Soda Blast Express (Media Blasting)

Using our various blast media we can blast clean almost any metal without damage.

Soda Blasting uses food grade baking soda in a granulated form propelled by high volume, super dry air, at high speed to remove coatings from almost any metal surface. Soda Blasting removes paint and other coatings without heating or warping even light sheet metal. Soda Blasting also removes grease and oil from engine components, cleans aluminum and stainless steel, removing paint from fiberglass and many other uses.

Garnet blasting is similar to sand blasting, the difference being that Garnet is a mineral and is environmentally and health-safe. Garnet contains no heavy metals and is silica free and leaves a white metal finish without embedment. We use only fine garnet (80 grit or higher) and this leaves a light profile on steel which is an excellent surface for painting or powder coating. Garnet blasting is an excellent blast media for auto restoration and for use on automobile body, frames, suspension parts, brush guards, headache racks, nerf bars, 4 wheelers, rock crawlers, ¼ midget frames, motorcycle frames, patio furniture, metal art, etc.

Aluminum oxide blasting is done in our blast cabinet. Aluminum oxide is nearly as hard as diamonds on the Mohs Scale of Hardness and is perfect for use on chromed parts that are being powder coated. We use only fine grit material that cleans the metal but leaves only the finest of profiles for a very smooth coating application.
